IR Beam Set — Transmitter + Receiver

A single invisible infrared beam across the course. Break it and the Sport-Timer starts; break it again and the clock stops. No operator reaction time, no arguments about the finish.
  • Yellow transmitter and charcoal receiver, wireless RF back to the controller
  • Works at up to 100 feet, indoors or in full sunshine
  • Receiver LED flashes while searching and goes solid when aligned
  • Per-gate dead time from 1 to 400 seconds, so a runner or horse cannot double-trigger
  • One gate starts and stops; two gates give you a true point-to-point course
  • Low-battery LED on the transmitter; mounts on any ¼-inch-20 tripod
Tripods sold separately — one per gate.
  • Records every shot; reviews strings shot-by-shot, keeps your last 8 strings
  • Random-delay (2.5–5 s) or instant RO start, plus 1–10 min walk-through countdown
  • Adjustable sensitivity (0–63) for indoor, outdoor and high-noise ranges
  • RF wireless — streams live times to a 4- or 6-digit scoreboard up to 50 m away

Great for splits

Lap and split timing is perfect for our agility runs. I would love a rechargeable option, but a 9V lasts a whole weekend.

Point-to-point just works

Two beams — one at the start, one at the finish. First break starts, second stops. Simple and reliable.
